Marketing Officer & Manager, Advertising Development

We currently have these excellent positions available: Marketing OfficerThe Marketing Officer will direct MTA Metro-North Railroad’s Marketing Program to support the Railroad’s efforts to increase ridership and revenue, as well as to increase positive public awareness of Metro-North. The Marketing Officer will direct all marketing programs, recommend advertising and media strategies, initiate promotional partnerships, and manage cross-marketing, sales outreach, on-site marketing and special events. A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications and/or related field is required; a Master’s is preferred. Minimum ten (10) years of senior level marketing experience with emphasis on consumer/service related products, marketing strategies, preferably in transportation operations or service, is also required.

Manager, Advertising DevelopmentThe Manager of Advertising will develop new advertising and sponsorship initiatives aimed at increasing Metro-North’s non-fare revenues. A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance and/or related field is required; a Master’s is preferred. Minimum five (5) years progressive business experience with emphasis on new products, advertising, sponsorship, product development and/or business development is also required.
