Marketing Project Manager - Account Executive
*POSITION CAN BE LOCATED IN IRVING, TX OR LAWRENCE. KS* SUMMARY: Responsible for the planning, development, execution and analysis of marketing programs that support customer acquisition and retention programs. Advertising and marketing communications include, but are not limited to, direct marketing, print, outdoor, sales support, and interactive media. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. The Marketing Project Manager may be expected to perform some or all of the duties listed, and complete special projects and other duties as assigned.£ Liaison between the Creative team and internal clients/departments. Responsible for clarifying goals and objectives; providing strategic communication recommendations; soliciting and gathering all needed research and product content; and crafting well-written documentation back to internal stakeholders as well as briefing the creative team on execution.£ Manage all initiatives flowing through the Creative department. Day to day working knowledge of status, next steps, priority, and due dates. Negotiates resource allocation with the Creative team; ensures process is followed to accept, open, process, develop and execute jobs; manages projects to successful completion on time and on strategy.£ Knowledgeable marketing leader who understands our market position, our market goals, our value proposition, our brand, our sales objectives, our targets and our go-to-market strategy. Can leverage the above knowledge in helping create smart, effective communications programs for internal clients.£ Manages marketing inventory and assets: collateral, tchotchkes, premiums, clothing, and tradeshow booths.£ Responsible for vendor sourcing, clarifying pricing, purchasing goods and media, reconciling invoices, and tracking marketing spend over the course of the year against budget.£ Manages relationship with outside vendors: Printers, premium suppliers, yellow pages, and Web management.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS£ Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or advertising; and four to five years marketing communications or advertising agency experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
