Marketing / Sales Specialist

Disaster Restoration Services provider needs a Sales/Marketing Specialist. Applicant must have a confident, friendly, out going personality, motivated, organized, with good computer skills.

The Sales/Marketing Representative must have at least 2 years experience or educational training in the sales and marketing field. 


The applicant should also have experience in the following areas; 

1. Formal presentations

2. Knowledge and understanding of the property restoration field.

3. Knowledge and understanding of computers and industry software.

4. Assessment techniques of examining, questioning, evaluating and documenting.

5.  Additional skills including planning, organizing, communicating and directing.

6. Applicant must have a clean driving record and current NY drivers license.


Job purpose and scope; The sales and marketing representative is responsible for for the sales/marketing of the business's services provided by D&S Professional Services/Disaster Kleenup of Central New York and the Mohawk Valley to the insurance industry, commercial building owners and managers, municipal and school district buildings and grounds managers. 


Responsibilities; The Marketing Representatives responsibilities include but are not limited to the following;

1. Developing and maintaining a marketing/sales plan, including goals,to identify prospective customers.

2. New customer calls to identify prospective customers.

3. Maintain regular communications with current customers, ensuring satisfaction.

4. Write a weekly progress report to supervisor.

5. Write a monthly progress report for employee meeting.

6. Schedule and coordinate customer presentations, lunch, donuts etc. some to include supervisor.

7. Utilize current claims to identify prospective customers.

8. Develop and enhance company-marketing products.

9. Attend company meetings.

10. Participate in available seminars.

11. Support company employees through regular communications of ongoing successes.


Pay is hourly plus commission, holidays, vacation, 401k, company car and health is available.
