CCG is looking for a bright, aggressive Media/Public Relations Specialists for our growing public relations/media relations practice to be based in our offices in West Los Angeles or New York City. Exceptional writing, editing and media relations skills are the foundation for this position. The position will also involve developing appropriate media relations strategies and positioning for a range of NASDAQ, AMEX and NYSE-listed public company clients. Your knowledge of PR strategy and tactics, professional demeanor, phone presence, ability to manage your time is very important to us. Excellent press release, copywriting, and general public relations writing skills are a must.

A person with a background in media and publicity, public relations or journalism will be well suited to this job. PR Agency experience is a plus.

Position Overview


Challenging position with a rapidly growing leader in the investor relations, public relations consulting field. Work with some of the nation’s leading public companies to redefine their brand positions with the broad range of electronic and print media. You will need to be able to combine strong communications skills with an ability to understand and present financial and corporate stories, draft press releases and other documents and develop media placement. Additionally, you should be able to develop creative branding and marketing initiatives.

You should have a proven ability to make a media pitches, excellent writing skills, and preferably a basic understanding of financial statements and securities analysis or at least the means to comprehend and explain complex business topics. Salary to be negotiated based on education and work experience, plus bonus sharing and benefit package.

 

 
QUALIFICATIONSStrong verbal communications and writing skills are essential. Minimum 5 years related media or public relations experience.Experience managing client accounts and client interaction.Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment.Capable of handling complex projects under tight deadlines.Desire to grow in investor relations consulting skills and accept increasingly greater challenges.Absolute integrity, sound work ethic and stable work history.
