Position Description:
This position sells lead generation inventory available on our very focused and specialized construction industry site. Our target market is national advertisers and building product manufacturers wishing to reach an extremely targeted and focused industry audience and market. The advertising customer has the ability to select their placements across our site and their ad will be only served to the most relevant audience based on their geographic location and construction trade relevancy.


Job Responsibilities:

1.  Cold target market for media sales. 

2.  Call on National Building Product Manufacturers

3.  Call On Advertising Agencies

4.  Schedule meetings to show advertising options

5.  Utilize needs based and consultative selling techniques to determine product and service needs for both new and ongoing accounts/prospects.

6.  Utilize Sales Force for every customer contact.

7.  Participate in training as it relates to media sales.

8.  Provide appropriate input to management to develop marketing and sales plan.

9.  Create sales reports as directed.


Position Requirements:

1.  Proof of successful track record in sales.

2.  3 years successful sales experience /or 2 years experience with a college degree in sales or marketing.

3.  Conduct in person presentations to customers.

4.  Experience in applying a process-oriented sales methodology.

5.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with high level of initiative, good interpersonal skills, and excellent presentation skills

6.  Comfortable selling within the construction industry. A working knowledge of the construction industry preferred.
