Medical Copywriter

Growing Bucks County healthcare marketing communications firm seeks a medical copywriter (full-time/part-time considered) with a minimum of 5 years experience in professional as well as direct-to-patient copy. Example projects are health intervention materials, sales training materials, web site copy, slide decks, in-house promotion, etc. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience.

Duties:

• Works with art directors to develop copy concepts for print, web, video, direct mail and other forms of promotion for agency and clients.

 

• Has copy oversight of creative product from inception through completion to ensure a high level of quality and maintenance of concept through approval of design.

 

• Prepares copy for regulatory approval, with complete citations.

 

• Conducts research to ensure ability to write accurate, on-target copy/concepts for assigned projects.

 

• Works to ensure copy/concepts serve the purpose of selling the client’s product/service/image according to the strategic creative plan.

 

• Assists in writing, proofing, and copyediting  new business proposals, marketing plans, publicity, etc., as requested.

 

• Assists in drafting in-house promotional items, ie, e-newsletter; web site, etc., sales presentations.

 

• Maintains current computer software skills compatible with the needs of other creative team members.
