Medical Underwriter

Medical Underwriter opening in Pennsylvania. This position is responsible for making medical underwriting decisions on new and existing business within the small group market and eventually the individual market across multiple states. In addition, this role performs pre-screens. Ensures that service standards for assigned work are met or exceeded. Communicates with brokers, general agents and sales execs on a daily basis. The end result of this position is to ensure that risks are rated appropriately leading to the achievement of target loss ratios, revenue goals and membership. Salary $Open.
