Medical Writer/Editor

Wedgewood Communications has a key lead editorial position available for an accomplished medical communicator. This dynamic individual will work closely with clients, the account and creative teams, as well as with nationally recognized thought leaders in the field of medicine. He or she will be responsible for helping to set the messaging for their brands, taking into account both medical and marketing needs. They will interact with the creative team to establish the look, feel, and direction of new campaigns, and ensure that all associated pieces align with that direction. They will be responsible for translating all ideas in a clear and compelling manner, and adapt to whatever project is being produced--from slide kits to visual aids, monographs to direct mail, patient teaching videos to interactive web and DVD programs.


Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years experience in medical marketing/advertising or publishing, a degree in the life sciences, and a good understanding of marketing goals and how to achieve them.
