NYC Entertainment Relations Project Coordinator

Gibson Guitar Corp. (the world’s leading musical instrument manufacturer and Lifestyle Company) is seeking candidates for the position of ‘Entertainment Relations Project Coordinator’ to be based out of New York City.

 

Duties include the following:

Events

· Book Events in Showroom

· Cultivate Relationships with partners in regards to regular events and formation of new events

· Pre Production

· Host

· Organize consultants

· Set up, break down and clean up

· Work with Film crews for taped interviews/performances to maximize Gibson exposure

· Book Rehearsals

· Book Writing Sessions

· Assist in outside events, including NAMM and Grammy Week events

· Run soundboard when needed

· Set up stage for performances

 

Showroom

· Maintain Showroom appearance

· Manage Showroom inventory

· Coordinate Piano moves

· Host guests for ER Pros (including loaning of instruments, tours of showroom, relationship building etc…)

· Order Office Supplies (including coffee service)

· FedEx coordination and packing of guitars

· Maintain relationship with drink sponsors

· Showroom Report

· Work with cleaning service

· Maintain office machines

· Order parts for guitar tech

· Order piano and drum parts

· Organize showroom inventory (including drums, drum hardware, guitars, guitar cases, pianos)

· Manage Consultants

· Provide Proof of performance, WoW and Blog entries

 

Misc.

· Host guests for ER Pros (including loaning of instruments, tours of showroom, relationship building etc…)

· Organize messengers

· Support ER Pros (while out of the office) in day to day administration

· Help in creation of Marketing Campaigns and Promotions for guitar Launches

· Host and support Marketing Campaigns

 

Ideal candidate will have successful prior experience in a creative administrative role.
