An Account Manager works with a Sales Manager’s Team to help them grow and retain their customer base. Account Managers communicate directly with current clients regarding their advertising campaigns. Specific Responsibilities:· Entering corporate and national campaigns and monitoring their performance · Responding to and updating assigned clients to ensure they are satisfied and informed· Nurturing current assigned clients; including renewals and up selling· Preparing monthly and annual reports for Sales Manager and team· Monitoring campaign performance· Managing paperwork · Assisting the Sales Managers in meeting preparation by conducting research, formulating proposals, and gathering articles or sample reports. Specific Skills/ Qualifications:· 2-5 years working experience in sales (inside or outside), marketing, or customer service· Sales-minded demeanor, with a particular strength and comfort level in retaining and up-selling current business · Must be very comfortable on the internet with major sites and tools· Must pick up technological concepts quickly · Capable of methodically sorting through an issue and following through with Support team to resolve· Able to organize time and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment· Able to interpret data on reports and make recommendations to improve performance· Strong verbal and written communication skills· Must excel at explaining and simplifying complex concepts (in-person, by phone, and via e-mail) · Advanced Microsoft Office a must (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)· Must be positive and enjoy helping clients understand advertising and technology-related issues· Must work with integrity and care for colleagues Education Requirements:· Bachelors Degree or Equivalent education / experience Benefits· Medical, Dental, Vision· 401K· Base Salary plus Commission Experience:· 2+ years of direct sales or customer service experience. Preferably in an environment where you were vertically centered or worked in an inside sales type of position.· Internet and online marketing experience preferred SEM, Internet Sales, Advertising, Inside Sales, Outside Sales
