Fusion Innovative Marketing  (formerly known as Clear Channel Collective Marketing) a division of Triton Media / Dial Global is the leading strategic integrated marketing company that directs an array of custom marketing programs, from conceptual design, content development, to collective contesting and national promotion. It’s behavior is one that’s consistent with some of the largest marketing agencies in the country feeding the demands of media clients and their advertisers. 

 

Fusion is looking for a special dynamic individual to become part of the team to oversee the Southern California / West Coast Region. This is a rare opportunity to get involved with a dream position that has incredible upside. We are seeking creative, savvy media sales professionals to join our new Sponsorship team.  The individuals in this role will be responsible for generating revenue through the sale of integrated programs that incorporate radio, online, events, print and mobile sponsorships while collaborating closely with our creative team to develop custom integrated sponsorship packages. They will also lead our efforts in selling syndicated regional and national radio promotions. For those in radio, this truly is a national “NTR” role, but with a huge asset base of opportunities that incorporate all media.

 

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidates must be passionate team-oriented, self-motivated, ability to think out-of-the box with a minimum of 5 years of sales/marketing, selling, developing and executing multiplatform integrated packages within broadcast media with a demonstrated record of success in the field. Candidates with previous radio/television/print experience and/or a background in communications is preferred. Intimate knowledge and passion for promotion and marketing a must. Maintain strong existing relationships with marketing, planning, buying and/or digital agencies and clients. Demonstrated presentation skills, with the ability to sell based on concept, as our packages are customized and scaleable based on current and potential clients’ business objectives.

Prior experience and ability to nurture and develop strong relationships with our creative teams, and  work in tandem with these groups to conceive and execute smart creative proposals that reflect the companies programs and satisfy commercial partners’ key marketing objectives. Must work well in a hands-on capacity and generate creative, strategic pitches and proposals with limited turn around time.  Should be highly comfortable independently managing multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Position works closely with the group's VP, President and company parters and will serve as a key contact and in-house expert for companies Sales teams on the specifically assigned programs. Position is responsible for assembling accurate marketplace intelligence from client, agency, Fusion and division departments as well as published sources

Desired Requirements:

 

A qualified candidate should be: 1) a strategic, creative thinker that has a ball of energy to get in front of the right clients and deliver; 2) a person with strong interpersonal skills; 3) a person who has developed solid relationships in the sports, entertainment, direct client or agency business; and 4) a person who demonstrates the ability to take a project from start to finish. Candidates must be able to interact and present to the highest levels of both external executives. Knowledge of media basics is a must. Travel will be required as each position comes with a great deal of territory. A college degree in multi-media marketing, sales, or sports marketing experience is preferred.
