OgilvyInteractive, an Ogilvy Group company, is an interactive marketing and communications firm specializing in customer analytics, creative, Web site design, social media, and search engine marketing.

We are seeking a Digital Intern to serve as a team member on a number of web development projects in our New York City office. Applicants should be college juniors going into their senior year who possess a demonstrated passion for digital marketing communications. This may be evidenced by relevant course work, other internships, or extra-curricular activities. This is a paid internship, running from June to August 2008.

The Intern will provide research, project support, analysis, and hands-on implementation work in the development of enterprise intranets, eCommerce websites and web marketing campaigns. Individual must have effective communication skills, be able to juggle multiple tasks under pressure, and meet deadlines. The position requires a professional, conscientious and proactive team player with a service-oriented attitude.  

As an Ogilvy Summer Intern, you will also have the opportunity to participate in an ongoing live client project with other interns from the various departments. This takes place in a lecture/assignment format giving you exposure to some of our most prominent leaders. Regardless of the team you are working with, you will be exposed to the best and the brightest minds in the field who will work closely with you to ensure an invaluable learning experience. Duties include the following:Collecting assessments of client and competitor web sites and the business processes they fulfillParticipating in working sessions with client and client customers to gather requirementsLearning to use the Content Management System (CMS) tools supporting client websitesUtilizing the CMS to create and revise web pages Qualifications
