Job Description


The Account Executive is responsible for identifying, qualifying and closing new business opportunities from top tier consumer marketers and their advertising agencies as well as from a variety of online direct response advertisers. This position is accountable for generating revenue from major accounts and for developing and managing long term relationships with senior marketing, advertising and executive level contacts within client and agency organizations across industry verticals.

The Sr. AE will manage short and long term sales cycles with annual deal size from $100K to $1MM+ per advertiser account. Top candidates for this position will be confident, organized, and love the thrill of closing new business. Working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, the Senior Account Executive will be comfortable in new sales situations and will enjoy face-to-face sales. We are seeking goal-oriented, motivated salespeople to join our Sales Team.


Responsibilities Develop and execute a territory plan for assigned geographic territory.Qualify prospects to uncover and close opportunities for new business.Proactive outreach targeting advertisers and their agencies. Effectively and efficiently manage own schedule and appointments.Travel to top prospects and existing accounts within assigned geographic territory.Must leverage a consultative sales process, customize solutions to fit client needs, and manage creative negotiations process with accounts.Timely and accurate sales and activity reporting.Close sales to attain and exceed revenue goals.Collaborate effectively with Client Services and Campaign Management teams to optimize sales effectiveness, account relationships and campaign performance.Create proposals for new clients and negotiate contract agreements.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred. 3+ years sales experience with above quota achievement in business to business sales environment. Ability to execute and exceed aggressive sales metrics, delivering significant advertising revenue and customer growth. Prior experience in online media sales or advertising business required. Ideal candidates have successfully driven results at comparable, high growth Internet publishers. Experience with both agency and client-direct sales preferred. Ideal candidates bring established client contacts and relationships which will accelerate revenue growth. Excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills. The ability to work independently, while being open to direction, guidance and proactively staying connected to the corporate office. Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to use software tools to evaluate client usage and opportunity. Experience and comfort working in a fast-paced and empowered environment. Passion and commitment to developing leading edge technology, working hard and having fun in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
