Our client currently maintains over a hundred active advertiser relationships and approximately a thousand publisher relationships reaching 60% of the internet audience

RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Meet or exceed assigned monthly revenue goals.

·  Prepare list of prospects from leads in publications, Web sites, previous accounts, etc.

·  Obtain pertinent information concerning prospects' past and current advertising for use in sales presentation.

·  Contact and visit prospects and agencies to demonstrate advantages of advertising online and exhibit prepared samples.

·  Confer with advertisers to determine timing of advertising.  Work with operations to schedule advertising.

·  Present and negotiate advertising packages with client.

·  Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into Salesforce.

·  Develop and maintain relationships with advertising agencies and prospects.

·  Communicate with Director, West Coast Sales through weekly and monthly reports on sales efforts.

·  Work with Account Manager to facilitate campaign delivery

·  Ability to present to groups or individuals in a consultative manner.

·  Attend trade shows, conferences, and seminars.

·  Keep abreast of industry developments, lead by example, be a positive influence on the team.

 

REQUIREMENTS

·  2+ years experience in advertising sales in a new media environment is a MUST.

·  1+ years sales experience at an advertising network.

·  Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.

·  Excellent communication, sales, and presentation skills.

·  Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Salesforce or a comparable CRM system.

·  Must demonstrate ability to operate effectively both independently and in a team environment.

·  Ability to travel 25-50%
