Duties:
Source potential customers
Develop and implement innovative solutions for web advertising and digital revenue growth
Drive online ad sales, and consistently exceed revenue goals
Prepare proposals and respond to RFPs
Stay current of online advertising trends and innovations
Provide client feedback and competitive insights to sales management regarding advertising rates, programs, special features and strategic initiatives
Manage customer relationships, helping customers maximize the value of their advertising dollars
Update clients with campaign reports
Special projects as assigned
Requirements:
2+ years in online advertising sales experience required
Highly successful track record closing technology-based advertising solutions
Strong background in online advertising sales, technologies and tactics, negotiation, an understanding of multiple media, media planning and strategy
Demonstrated and consistent success at exceeding ambitious revenue targets
Strategic value proposition and presentation skills
Excellent contract negotiation skills
Able to easily identify key advertising opportunities and develop value propositions and sales strategies for each
Knowledge and track record in all sales activities, including lead generation, prospecting, qualifying, new business pitches, preparation of sales materials and communications, client interaction and the other duties required to successfully manage and develop accounts
Ability to articulate future business and provide weekly updates and reports to management
Ability to create forecasting models, including budget, dates, and probability to close
Authorization to work in the United States for any employer
