Occupation:Copy Editor - Advertising Responsibilities: The Online Copy Editor assists in the proofreading and quality control of all online marketing pieces and the upkeep of company and client standard documentation. Good proofreading, language, and organizational skills needed.Essential Functions: - Proofreading: correct grammar, typos, and inconsistencies with client/company standards. - Quality Control: test functionality and consistency on all online marketing pieces. - Update product, client, and legal standards when needed. - Work with graphic designers to ensure that revisions are made correctly. - Take full ownership for every job read with attention to detail. The Online Copy Editor is responsible for every aspect in the quality of a marketing job that leaves the department. - Support Marketing Information Manager with all workflow.Secondary Functions: - Assist in routing materials to appropriate team members. - Track and archive all correspondence relating to each project. - Support Traffic Coordinator with aspects of project coordination. Requirements: - Strong written and oral skills, detail oriented and good problem solving skills. - Strong computer skills and web-browsing skills. - Proven ability to working effectively under pressure, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously on a daily basis. - Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Familiarity with HTML a plus. - Degree in English literature, journalism, or a related field preferred. - 1-2 years experience in editing or proofreading preferred.Please apply using the below link: https://secure.recruitingcenter.net/Clients/affinion/PublicJobs/Canviewjobs.cfm?
