Play a pivotal role in developing strategy and measuring results for clients’ online marketing campaigns with TechWeb, a leading marketing services company. As our Online Marketing Analyst, you will be a key member of the Performance Marketing Group. You will have the unique opportunity to help the team understand and interpret online metrics so we can manage the execution of our clients’ custom microsites and campaigns while you simultaneously serve as an online metrics knowledge base for internal groups such as sales, operations, and project management. Tap into your strategic and consultative talents as you advise these groups on topics such as client web site design, content direction, conversion tactics, and messaging. Client contact will be regular, as you participate on calls to help them understand what their site and campaign metrics mean. As an Online Marketing Analyst for TechWeb in New York City or Manhasset, NY, you will provide interactive marketing expertise and insight to internal teams to assist them in making smart decisions around online promotion, editorial, and design strategies for client marketing campaigns. You will be looking at website statistics and metrics to understand what is happening on our sites, and how we can improve performance. This will require an understanding of analytical tools such as Omniture, DoubleClick, WebTrends, Atlas, or NetRatings and a mastery of topics like audience segmentation, search optimization, and web site traffic analysis. Your talent in creating customized reports based on your research and data gathering will allow you to recommend solutions, while your solid verbal and written communication skills will ensure that your interactions with clients and internal groups is polished and professional.
