Pangea Media is a fast-paced online advertising and marketing startup with a casual work environment based in Watertown, MA. We build entertaining products and websites that have broad appeal to web users while integrating with publishers' sites and content. Our first such site is Quibblo.com, a user generated quiz, survey and poll site. Our revenues primarily come from online advertising, lead generation and market research.

We are seeking to expand our great core team with a full-time Online Media Buyer who will focus on building distribution for our products. This role is an integral part of our sales and marketing team and the ideal candidate will have at least two years of media buying experience, preferably in the online space. Job Responsibilities:Source and maintain profitable media relationships with online publishers Negotiate pricing and purchase inventory on a CPA, CPM and CPC basis Prospect for new media placements that expand our network distribution capabilities Produce monthly P&L forecasting for your accounts Work closely with sales to price and win new business Assist in building and managing internal growth 

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:BA/BS degree 2+ years of experience with media buying and planning required Analytical mindset with strong quantitative skills; Experience with Excel a must Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to meet tight deadlines consistently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and follow-through Professional network and industry contacts are a plus
