Operations Manager

MagazineRadar is a new market research company making a big difference in the magazine publishing business. We gather up a huge amount of data, crunch it down to just the most important bits, and make it available to magazine publishers via a great web interface.

Behind the scenes, there are a lot of gears to turn: many thousands of magazines must be cataloged, tracked, and analyzed each year. Our operation runs 24-7 to identify and tag thousands of ads every single day.

We’re looking for an energetic leader with a relentless attention to detail to help us manage and improve our process, and scale up as we rapidly increase capacity.


Responsibilities

Recruit, hire and train new data-entry team members as we growMeasure productivity and quality, and set team performance goalsManage in-house and off-site data-entry teams to meet production and quality goalsDesign and implement new ideas to improve our data-entry process

Requirements

Hands-on experience hiring peopleExperience managing a team of at least 6 people for 3+ years.Excellent analytical skills, and be able to make an Excel spreadsheet to track and chart performance metrics

Prior Experience

Candidates should have direct experience in operations and continuous process improvement. Some examples of relevant experience are: managing a call center, leading a product team at a digital agency, directing a customer support team for a software company, or managing inventory.
