We are currently looking for Overnight Production Engineers in our Los Angeles, CA West Coast headquarters who want to be at the forefront of the rich media online advertising space through the use of streaming video, online data collections, advanced widget and gaming functionality, XML and RSS feeds, and loads of interactivity. This is a hybrid position that utilizes skills from programming, web development and graphic design. Job Responsibilities

§ Review and debug creative assets (e.g. SWFs, FLAs, HTML files, jpgs, gifs) for proper functionality

§ Review and examine third-party Actionscript code to integrate our proprietary code to track interactivity

§ Prepare ads for a smooth and timely launch by inserting required third-party tracking redirects

§ Support and assist internal teams in the construction of PointRoll ad units using Flash and Flash-based technologies

§ Implement streaming video, text and graphical revisions in Flash

§ Review and test pre-live ad code across multiple platforms to confirm proper functionality

§ Review and troubleshoot issues with ads live on publisher websites

§ Build and send ad tags to publisher websites

§ Gather and maintain publisher website specifications for internal database

 

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who:

-  Has at least an intermediate level of experience with some combination of Adobe Flash, Actionscript, HTML, Javascript, ASP, PHP, JSP, ColdFusion, Perl, XML, RSS, C++, C# or Visual Basic).

-  Knows enough to navigate around Adobe Flash and is capable of quickly learning more

-  Has the ability to optimize swfs (squeeze the most out of a file in the least amount of bytes)

-  Has a working knowledge of video technology

-  Has experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Image Ready

-  Possesses an intermediate level of expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel

-  Has excellent verbal and written communication skills

-  Is self-motivated and able to pay meticulous attention to detail

-  Has a college degree or equivalent experience in a related field

-  Experience with Adobe AfterEffects is a plus

-  Familiarity with online media is a plus
