We are looking for enthusiastic person to join our web development team at aimClear, a well regarded search marketing-focused advertising long the shores of Lake Superior.  

The successful candidate should have a good knowledge of information systems and computer architecture, will be responsible for the day to day running of our backend servers for both internal and external use, and develop web-based marketing and analytic applications.  

He/she should expect to not only interact with colleagues as part of a team, but also aimClear clients around the world. Travel to search marketing conferences, vendor partners, clients, and for continuing education may be required.

 

aimClear provides marketing, advertising, and PR services forclients on mainstream search engine and social media advertising platforms including Google, Yahoo, MSN, Facebook, StumbleUpon, Digg, Delicious, Reddit, Propeller, MySpace, Internet Yellow Pages, blogs, and others.

We utilize cutting edge hosted web analytics solutions includingClickTracks, Google Analytics, Index Tools, and others. Ourcontent-creation, analytic, organic optimization (SEO), and blogging practices are well regarded and growing quickly.

 

Knowledge requirementsThis position requires a 2 or 4 year degree in a computer/engineering discipline or equivalent experience in the field. In addition the successful candidate will be familiar with Unix based systems, Apache/PHP/MySQL on an administrator as well as developer basis.

 

Day to day operations require the user to operate on command line experience using bash or other system shell as well as experience installing configuring software from source is essential. Programming knowledge of PHP, XHTML/CSS/JavaScript is required.

 

Additional languages such as Python, Ruby, Classic ASP, ASP.Net (C#or J#) would be beneficial. In addition applicant must be able to use basic office software and web development tools. Experience with Adobe Dreamweaver & Fireworks software preferred but not essential.

 

PHP/MYSQL Web Developer is expected to help maintain our backend systems for clients and internal systems. The job is dynamic and changes from day to day and includes:

 ·Writing specification and purchasing requirement for new hardware.·Configuration of servers, computer desktops·Installation and configuration of operating systems·Installation and administration of server software including but not limited to

Apache/MySql/PHP/Ruby/WHM Auto pilot (CPANEL)/TomCat/Python

·Installation and configuration of web scripts including but not limited to Drupal/Wordpress/ZenCart/OpenAds/Plone/Lazlo/Flex

 

-Configuration of Google Hosted Applications and management of remote email systems-Maintenance and configuration of aimClear internal servers and Analytical equipment

Other duties as suitable for a PHP/MYSQL Web Developer:-PHP/MYSQL Web Developer reports to the CEO.-Salary is dependent on experience. This is a full time on-site position in our Duluth, Minnesota office.-Every aimClear team member also participates in social communities, using shop avatars, on behalf our our clients.
