PUBLIC RELATIONS SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE FOR AUTOMOTIVE-LIFESTYLE TEAM

 

JMPR Public Relations is one of the top independent public relations firms in the Los Angeles area. Our clients include Airstream, Bentley Motors, Ducati Motorcycles, RM Auctions and the Petersen Automotive Museum. We are looking for talented, energetic and dynamic media relations professionals with a degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related fields.  Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 5 years public relations experience for Senior Account Executive, preferably with automotive and/or automotive aftermarket or related firms. 

 

We offer the right individuals an opportunity to work on multi-faceted programs and special events with exciting national and international automotive and motorcycle manufacturers, dealers design and customizing firms, auto aftermarket industry providers and a variety of lifestyle and transportation accounts.

 

Candidates should have solid PR experience, including media list creation, account and program management, excellent writing skills, a great news sense, and an aggressive, pro-active attitude toward media relations.  He or she will also need a proven ability in the fields of event planning, detailed program logistics, and project measurement.  Responsibilities will include daily client interaction, maintaining clip files and possible travel.  Knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus, as well as possessing enthusiasm, creativity and resourcefulness. Must be detail oriented, able to multi-task, meet project deadlines, deliver quality media outreach, and work effectively in a fast-paced office environment.
