Packaging Design Manager

Position Title:  Packaging Design Manager

Reports To:    VP of Marketing

 

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

Production/Review/Pre-Press Approval of artwork for Carrot Packaging. Point of contact for new container, Beverage & Carrot Private Label Packaging design. Maintain digital files for all container and product packaging. Design as necessary.  Support manager with other tasks as necessary.

 

Qualifications:



·  Strong computer graphics skills required (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.). Strong computer skills to include word processing (Word), spreadsheets (Excel), presentations (PowerPoint), and to a lesser extent database (Access) and desktop publishing.

·  Strong print production knowledge, heavy communication with printers and pre-press individuals.

·  Prior experience in graphic design/ digital file production.

·  Keep up to date with packaging requirements.

·  Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures to include ability to compose and format correspondence. Heavy communication with customers and design agencies.

·  Ability to organize, prioritize multiple deadlines while working on numerous on-going projects simultaneously.

·  Leadership abilities, must be able to take charge and be responsible for packaging projects.

·  Ability to work independently.

·  Ability to communicate and work well with all levels of an organization.

·  Minimum high school education required, some college preferred.

·  Discretion required in dealing with confidential information.

 

Salary Range:  $34,000 - $36,000 per year, Bonus eligible, full benefits, 401k
