Title – Account Director 

Type – Permanent

Location – Los Angeles / Beverly Hills Area

 

Our client is an experiential marketing agency with a need for an Account Director with at least five (5) years of experience in this category. Event marketing and promotions experience at a similar agency is required to be considered for the position.

 

Role / Responsibilities:

 

CLIENT & PROGRAM MANAGEMENT - Manage promotional programs: client contact, site negotiations, venue scouting, working with local managers and staff, sourcing/purchasing event materials, creating program manuals, managing program budgets, processing invoices/expense reports, program reporting, etc.

DOCUMENTATION - Create, reproduce, assemble and complete a variety of documents, tables, reports and forms that will help streamline company operations.

NEW BUSINESS - Participate in new business and brainstorm meetings to concept, develop and implement promotional programs which address an existing client or potential client’s needs while achieving their goals and objectives.  Duties include:  budgeting, research, scheduling, presentations, general overview of the program activation, etc.

Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, passion for the event marketing and promotion industry and strong communication skills are a MUST.

Account Director will mentor and manage junior account staff and report to senior management.

Qualifications:

- 5-7 years of experience at an experiential marketing agency (marketing & promotions)

- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

- Previous experience in a leadership role, managing an event promotions program from inception to completion.
