Part Time Administrative Assistant

Airfoil Public Relations, a rapidly growing technology-focused PR firm with offices in metro Detroit and Silicon Valley is seeking part-time administrative assistant for our Mountain View office. Our clients include some of the best-recognized brands in the world including Microsoft, eBay, and Starbucks.

Description

 

Responsible for overall front office activities, including but not limited to:  the reception area, mail, purchasing requests, facilities maintenance, administrative assistant support for staff, facilitating internal meetings, coordinating California office employee relations and activities, and other Operations support as needed

 

Skills

 

§  Good planning and organizational skills (strong attention to detail)

§  High-level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.

§  Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

§  Computer literacy.  Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software applications, especially MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook)

§  Excellent customer service skills

§  Knowledge of office administration procedures.

§  Ability to operate most standard office equipment.

§  Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.

§  Good to excellent spelling, grammar and written communication skills. (including excellent telephone and oral communication skills).

§  Ability to negotiate effectively. Budget management skills

§  Professional appearance and manner.

§  Ability to lift approximately 15-20 lbs.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent with some college or technical school coursework preferred and minimum of three (3) years of job-related experience, preferably in office management, human resources or technology, or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
