President of Interactive Marketing Agency

Garfield Group, a leading Branding, Public Relations & Interactive agency with a distinguished client roster, is seeking a PRESIDENT candidate to join our award winning Internet marketing firm, located in Newton, MA.  We offer excellent compensation and benefits along with the opportunity to progress by merit.

The President of Garfield Group Interactive (GGI) will be the key agency lead whose role will assure that all of the clients' needs are being met as well as pro actively explore ways to further service and grow relationships.  The President will maintain fiscal responsibility for all initiatives under their stewardship.  They will be running the operations of this company to ensure that revenue and profitability goals are achieved in conjunction with the COO.

The President will provide strategic direction and should serve as a source of expertise, across all interactive media for their clients.  It is expected that the President would remain current on market trends, emerging media opportunities and identify the implication of these on their clients' business.

Internally, the President of GGI will motivate and grow the internal team by fostering a positive work environment.  This will include managing staffing and ongoing professional development. 

Ideal Candidate will possess:5-8 years of 'BIG' agency/client experienceDemonstrated new business responsibilitiesSignificant experience in matching Internet technologies to business needs In depth knowledge of interactive principles and how they work in conjunction with branding & advertisingExperience in dealing directly with senior clients & agency managementP&L and budgeting responsibilityExperience in training & managing junior team membersExperience in planning & implementing all interactive mediaStaffing, retention & development of multi level employeesComputer proficiency Media/Research platform knowledge
