Print Buyer/Production Manager

Job Description:

This role has an integral part in our organization. The ideal candidate will communicate not only internally with client services teams and other team members of the purchasing department, but will also work closely with outside vendors. This person will be extremely organized and able to work under strict deadlines.

 

Job Requirements:

* Research ideas, as needed, for each outlined project and make recommendations.

* Keep up with new technology related to print/tech/mail.

* Attend concept meetings to help define production needs.

* Provide budget estimates for each project.

* Select and schedule vendors/services for each project.

* Buy all production services within agreed upon budget.

* Manage each project from receipt of art work until completion and be responsible for the timely execution of all purchasing services.

* Monitor/evaluate vendor services.

* Provide postal expertise for mailings.

* Provide status reports to supervisor.

* Update and maintain purchasing database.

* Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
