Product Marketing Specialist

Delphi Glass is the leading art glass crafts supplier in the U.S., serving the craft, school, and home improvement markets from our operations based in Lansing, MI. We are looking for an experienced, energetic professional to contribute to our continued market leadership and expansion of the 'Creative Crafts' industry. This position will be responsible for assisting in the development of Delphi’s bi-monthly and annual catalogs and website at DelphiGlass.com.

Candidates must have strong consumer writing skills, be able to manage multiple projects, and have the ability to work independently under deadline. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Areas of Responsibility:Assisting in seasonal and annual catalog creationSelect products, write copy, coordinate projects and photographyCreating promotions and writing content for marketing communication: including postcards, websites, advertising, ‘message on hold’, signage and targeted marketing campaigns. E-commerce marketing for other Daniels Creativity Group websites as defined by Merchandising Director including adding merchandise to sites.Maintaining product and industry trend knowledge through trade shows, publications, associations, competitors and associates.  Attend relevant trade shows and events to observe market trends, gather product information, select merchandise and establish business relationships with viable vendors.

 

Required Skills, Knowledge and Competencies:Strong writing skills and the ability to write quickly under deadlineDemonstrated ability to work independently and under pressureHighly organized and able to manage multiple projects at onceAble to work with different departments in multiple locationsProduct knowledge/high interest in glass art as well as relevant crafts.

 

Relevant Background:3+ years experience in business to consumer writingInterest in the fine arts, crafts, home décor and improvementExcellent communication skillsBachelors Degree
