Production Analyst - 4847

Description:About the OpportunityResponsibilities:- Receive and process input feeds - Verify input data quality, including identification and communication of file variances and potential issues - Verify program execution is successful - Proactively identify areas for improving processes and client service - Focus on meeting and exceeding client expectations - Perform file transfers - Perform backup procedures - Schedule and submit standard and ad-hoc jobs - Maintain and adhere to production schedules - Manage the quality and timeliness of updates and output deliverables - Ensure compliance with production standards - Run integration and system tests in accordance with test plan, working with BSA - QC standard and ad-hoc jobs by ensuring a successful job run and that job meets established QC criteria - Send all outputs to appropriate location (FTP, e-mail, FEDEX, etc.) - Maintain documentation of production schedules, file layouts - Maintain logs for all incoming feeds - Maintain logs for all generated files - Manage quality assurance of input feeds - Execute systems, integration, performance, and acceptance testing - Monitor system up time - follow escalation procedures if the system is unexpectedly unavailable - Communicate production issues to client and project team - Attend and participate in weekly status meetings - Like to have experience with scheduling software or ETL packagesQualifications:Background/Skills Required:- Strong UNIX - MS Access - SQL - Scheduling tools (like Maestro, etc.) - Scripting - Attention to detail and ability to multitask - Strong communication skillsSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceAlliance Data offers a competitive salary, a comprehensive selection of benefit options including 401(k) and employee stock purchase plan.Job Location: Irving, TXJob Number: 2745Company URL: http://www.epsilon.comCompany Profile:About UsEpsilon and its Abacus division provide comprehensive marketing services worldwide, helping companies manage, measure and optimize their customer relationships.
