Production Specialist

The Production Specialist position is part of a data production team responsible for the execution of data production jobs supporting directing marketing initiatives.  This position is responsible for the successful execution and communication with our internal and external clients of all assigned production jobs.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

 Obtain, interpret, and implement client instructions, requirements, and specificationsMonitor due dates for client requests to ensure deadlines are metPrepare processing requests and production reports Perform quality control on all phased and completed processing requests; Perform pre and post quality control of daily production jobsServe as a communication liaison between all Harte-Hanks business units to provide status of various active projects and enhancements in the unitAssist in monthly billing, reporting, and data usage as specifiedParticipate in team meetings and collaborative efforts in support of overall production workflowDocument processes and procedures effectively, including account plans as necessary for all assigned client production workReview individual requests for accuracy, complete documentation, and processing exceptions Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Harte-Hanks Data Resources products, services, or applicationsReview, maintain, and understand all Data Resources Processing Procedures and documentation

 

Requirements:

 Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management, or accounting or equivalent1 to 2 years experience working on an Operations Production teamProficient Microsoft Office Skills preferred including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPointSome exposure to mainframe environment preferableAbility to give attention to detail and good follow upInterpersonal skills and customer service orientationSolid verbal and written communications with an ability to communicate and work with all levels of the organizationAbility to work easily in a team environmentStrong analytical and problem solving skillSelf-motivated and self-reliant. Must work well independently and take initiative with assigned tasksAbility to manage multiple prioritiesBasic understanding of data management/manipulation/enhancement concepts a plus
