Renowned, Financial Services Leader has a Sr. Level Market Research opening to work within their Brand, Advertising, Web and Corporate Services division.



 

Position Summary:

 

The Project Director of Global Market Research will be responsible for developing and executing market research that supports the company’s efforts to communicate more effectively with internal and external stakeholders through online and offline media.  The successful candidate will be a self-directed leader and collaborator, committed to excellence and achieving measurable results.

 

Responsibilities:

 

The successful candidate will initiate new and/or refine existing studies to achieve communications goals efficiently. The role will include Brand/Positioning tracking, testing of new communications, design of specific effectiveness metrics, research used for media outreach, and functionality/content development testing for the firm’s website.  Research audiences are broad, but focus on customers, consumer prospects, plan sponsors, and third party distributor advisors.  This position will carefully select and manage research vendor partners to assure projects are delivered on time and on budget.  The successful candidate will initially manage and develop one analyst.



 

Requirements:College degree, MBA highly desired7+ years with research vendor, financial services provider or consulting firmExpertise in all aspects of market research, including project management and vendor managementProficiency in specifying and presenting multi-variate techniques Experience successfully managing brand and advertising researchProven consultative approach and/or strong relationship management capabilitySkilled analyst able to uncover relevant findings balanced with strategic leadership and ability to apply to business opportunitiesEnthusiasm, creativity, and strong sense of personal responsibility and commitment balanced with commitment to developing the broader research teamSuperior written and verbal communication skills
