Project Manager/Producer, China & International
The Project Manager/Producer, China & International, is responsible for the success of all China and International online and multimedia initiatives. Key responsibilities include the day-to-day tasks of identifying and mitigating project risks while managing a team of multi-faceted professionals. Responsibilities also include delivering localized online and multimedia solutions while ensuring consistency in design and timing for all global marketing initiatives. The Producer, China & International, works closely with the Director of Interactive Media on all China and International online and multimedia initiatives, and ensures that expectations are managed among all key stakeholders of all projects, in both China and New York. This position is also expected to contribute to creative and strategic ideas and direction for the China and International online marketing initiatives of Tiffany & Co. High Level Project Management Project Manage China and International Maintenance projects from start to finish Design and Implement the Translation, Maintenance, Traffic, Communications and Approvals System for China and International Manage and Lead Coordinators Ensure all projects and project milestones are delivered to agreed timelines, budgets and quality levels. Analyze project requirements, develop iteration plan, and assess opportunities for future growth. Develop risk management and mitigation strategies; identify scope creep Day-to-day Project Management Develop streamlined China and International Project Lists with key dates, progress & team leaders and update weekly Communicate project status and schedules to all key stakeholders (e.g., weekly meetings in Tiffany.com and other Internal Staff meetings, quarterly with US Tiffany.com and Advertising Team) Define and prioritize all projects for China and International; ensure that they all have clear goals and initiatives that have been agreed to by all key stakeholders Develop and maintain open communications and clear project plans so that potential conflicts with other projects are easily identified. Train and develop staff in areas of weakness, discuss w/Director and assign accountability Maintain overall vision - Business, marketing and project objectives Responsible for Team performance - Morale, productivity EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - Bilingual Chinese and English language skills (i.e., fluent to native level of both languages); both written and verbal skills required - BA or equivalent degree required - 5 years project management experience preferred - Extensive experience working with online marketing and/or multimedia production preferred; ideally in the role of senior producer/project manager with an interactive agency - Prior experience working in China and/or with Chinese clients required - MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required - Proven ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously - Must have an exceptional standard of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills - Extensive experience with creative development required - Experience with proven development and quality assurance methodologies is essential - Expert knowledge of the web, e-business solutions and related technologies is essential DESIRABLE SKILLS/CHARACTERISTICS - Self-motivated, well-organized and assertive, with exceptional analytical and deductive skills - Able to work alone with minimal direction, as well as part of a larger team - Able to understand technical, artistic and design issues, and clearly distill and communicate issues to key stakeholders - Able to quickly integrate into a team and be recognized as a leader - Solid knowledge of luxury brands a plus As an equal opportunity employer, it is the policy of Tiffany and Company to employ, compensate, promote and provide other conditions of employment without regard to age, gender, race, religion, color, creed, national origin, citizenship, marital status, sexual orientation or disability, in compliance with federal, state, local and municipal laws.
