Proofing Customer Service Research Assistant
Position Purpose:
To assist the Proofing Customer Service Team with the processing of customer changes by facilitating the completion of paperwork in a timely and accurate fashion.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Sort, track, and distribute incoming faxes, mail, email, & voicemail.
· Sort incoming faxes, mail, and email daily into appropriate types (changes, ad approvals, questions, etc.).
· Keep tally of all incoming articles and load onto spreadsheet once daily for tracking purposes.
· Distribute all paperwork to necessary parties daily.
Research:
· Research submitted changes to identify associated account information.
· Research customer histories to determine appropriate paperwork to be completed.
Paperwork:
· Complete and mail/fax form letters for unreadable faxes or late change requests
· Complete COV’s for written changes not requiring contact by a PCS Rep
· Complete internal call requests to be assigned to PCS Agents
Data Entry:
· Record receipt of incoming items on customer accounts.
· Mark ad approvals on customer accounts.
Special projects as assigned.
Requirements:High school diploma/GED
· 1-Year Data Entry/General Office Experience Required
· Must be computer literate with Macintosh experience a plus Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word & Email ProgramsTyping speed of at least 40 wpm
· Excellent editing, proofing, spelling, and grammar skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Strong interpersonal and problem solving skillsStrong ability to make timely decisions within provided guidelines/parametersExperience working in a team environment
· Demonstrate ability to work effectively under pressure within tight deadlinesMust have strong multi-tasking and organizational skillsMust be able to concentrate and focus for long periods of timePositive, energetic, professional and works well with others
