Proposal Development Writer / Project Manager

Status: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Job Category: Project/Program Management Career/Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Years of Experience: 2+ to 5 Years Reference Code: M-120-np-41263 Proposal Development Writer / Project Manager Job Duties:Proposal Development Writer will work with multiple Regional Account Managers, Regional Sales Executives, Regional Sales Managers, Area Marketing Directors, Regional Underwriters, Senior Leadership in those areas and National proposal professionals on rate requests, Requests for Proposals, Requests for Information and adhoc requests from National, Strategic and Large Group Purchasers. Requirements: Developed skill level computer skills: Excel, Word, PDF files MUST know file structure, user ID/passwords, how to open an online folder, how/where to save, etc. Must be capable and comfortable on the phone. This is not a job that is e-mail specific: there will be strong communication skills required and the telephone is essential for communication. FAST PACED environment so must thrive in that environment. Must be able to handle multiple projects, manage stress in a positive way. Must be able to conduct business with a diverse group of individuals. At least three years work experience in areas such as sales and marketing, communications, proposal development, product development, consulting, journalism, marketing, proposal writing, research, or other related field. Project management experience in health care strongly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge with RFP software and internet platforms.
