Public Relations Senior Account Executive/Account Supervisor

High profile, boutique Public Relations/Marketing firm specializing in green lifestyle products and services including food and beverage, fashion, events and publishing seeks seasoned publicist with a minimum of 4 years proven public relations experience. Agency experience is preferred. Candidates must be motivated, confident and creative.

The charge:

 

· Develop and implement strategic campaigns to support client/brands

· Generate BIG ideas and initiatives to support client campaigns

· Manage clients and understand campaign objectives and strategies

· Conceive, manage and execute events, media tours, press conferences

· Execute day-to-day media relations such as strategic story pitching and story placement

· Pitch and coordinate interviews and photo shoots

· Draft press materials (releases, bio’s, pitch letters, media alerts)

Must Have:

 

· Solid understanding of the media and up-the-minute knowledge of trends and major stories

· Strong media relations skills with established relationships in all mediums

· Ability to manage and mentor junior staff

· Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 4 years public relations experience

· Strong computer skills
