Publicity Coordinator

Brownstein & Associates, a high end PR firm, handling, personalities, experts in beauty/fashion, celebrities, accessories and consumer products for celebrity placement is looking for a hyper organized, DETAIL ORIENTED, gregarious, go getter, with the passion, drive and the want/need to succeed for the clients for a coveted position of publicity coordinator. Company is small. Must want to work in a boutique, entrepreneurial environment where you can be an independent thinker with creativity and smarts. Right candidate will be responsible for handling the calendars of their boss and her clients, all clippings, press kits, paste-ups, submissions, Bacon's lists, itineraries, and event submission and red carpet for all clientele on her list. Also includes select product placement, mentions in various publications, celebrity dressing and certain business functions.   Candidate must have extensive experience using Bacons to make lists, must know Photoshop for all clippings and have had an internship or job as an assistant at a reputable PR firm or company in the entertainment industry.  Must enjoy a structured yet creative environment, be extremely organized, can multi-task and prioritize and come up with great ideas. Someone with the wherewithal and insight to anticipate and support client needs, and handle tasks from a - z.  Because this is a small company, person gets to do everything and get true hands on client experience and exposure. Must have references, must be extremely organized, and not let things fall through the cracks as well as roll with the punches.
