QA Engineer (.NET)

QA Job Objective:
Create strategies for testing of Zango products. Ensure products are thoroughly tested and bug-free.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Develop and run “black box” test cases and test strategies for Zango products.
· Write high-level test plans, test cases, and summary documentation on applications; discover isolate, document and regress software defects.
· Track and document identified bugs; communicate regularly with development team to ensure that identified issues are resolved in a manner that ensures timely release of high-quality products.
· Use automated test tools for defect tracking, test case management, test case execution and test reporting.
· Provide input into decisions regarding the selection of QA tools, methodologies and release processes to be used.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent year’s experience.
· 1-2+ plus years experience in application software testing, including test design, some automated test development and execution with automated test tools (WinRunner or QuickTest, Rational Test Manager, Microsoft Visual Test, Test Complete or similar test development tool) preferred.
· Experience in designing, developing, implementing, and executing test plans/test cases/test scripts required. Web testing perferred.
· Experience writing defects, test summary reports and delivering.
· Thorough understanding of software testing and troubleshooting methodologies.
· Experience or course training with one or more programming/coding languages and a good understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle
· Demonstrated skills working across an organization with both technical and non-technical teams.
· QA & Test Certifications a plus
· Understanding and testing in C#, SQL, XML, and .NET 2.0 or higher preferred. Load testing a plus.
· Familiarity with multiple operating systems, client/server systems, databases, HTML, web applications, source control, environment migration and issue tracking concepts.
