RECEPTIONIST - MEDIA BUYING AGENCY

Mercury Media has been a leader in highly-skilled direct response media planning, buying, and marketing management with a 20 year track record of success.  We've worked with an extensive list of direct marketers including Guthy-Renker, Beach Body, Magic Bullet, Cuisinart, and many others, helping them to launch successful infomercial direct response campaigns.

 

We are currently in need of an energetic and multi-skilled full-time RECEPTIONIST to add to our extraordinary team.  We are looking for someone who has a demonstrated ability to handle heavy telephone volume in a prompt & courteous manner, with a proven history of excellent service skills exhibited by a cooperative spirit with interacting with clients, employees, and visitors.



Duties and responsibilities:
 

· Answers incoming calls, screens and routes calls to appropriate party

· Collects and distributes messages as needed

· Greets clients/visitors and notifies appropriate personnel

· Prepares, sorts, and distributes mail and courier packages

· Provides support for office personnel

· Maintains lobby, conference room, storage room, and kitchen to ensure an orderly appearance

· Manages office supplies – ordering, receiving, stocking, distributing

· Calls vendors & building management for repairs and maintanence requests

· Provides assistance with other related administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, document scanning, faxing, and photocopying.

· Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Demonstrates commitment to completion of projects on a timely basis

· Highly dependable and strong ability to adapt to ever changing priorities

· Positive “can do” attitude – team player that enjoys both working independently and as part of a unit

· Ability to take initiative, multi-task, and work well under pressure

· Handles sensetive and confidential information with discretion

 

Qualifications include high school degree and at least 1 year of previous receptionist/office admin experience, pleasant and professional phone manner, be detail-oriented, and possess excellent verbal communication skills.

 

PROFESSIONAL DRESS AND PROFESSIONAL APPEARANCE REQUIRED.

 

Hours:  Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm

 

Salary:  $25K to $30K DOE, plus quarterly bonuses & full benefits plan including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) employer match, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation, paid sick/personal, paid holidays, community "volunteer" days paid on company time, and more.
