The successful candidate will work closely with account teams across all groups within Ogilvy Public Relations to provide them with secondary research intelligence and insights to support new business efforts, ongoing client servicing and the growth of existing business. There is also opportunity for designing and conducting original primary research studies. The AD will help account teams to determine how research can be used to inform and enhance the strategic and tactical elements of their PR campaigns. The AD will be part of a flourishing Research and Insights group at Ogilvy PR and will report into the Managing Director for Insights and Research.



We are looking for a candidate who enjoys working with others, problem-solving and creating value for clients. Excellent writing and communications skills and comfort with presenting data are important. Specifically, the candidate must have extensive web research skills and a familiarity with using on-line databases such as Factiva and Nexis. We are also looking for a candidate who has experience managing research vendors, especially media analysis companies. Familiarity with MRI and other on-line data resources such as the Roper Database, First Call, Forrester research or Datamonitor is a plus. We require a candidate with at least five year’s work experience and prefer a graduate degree in a relevant discipline.
