Come help us meet the demand and be part of one of the advertising industry's fastest growing segments!Position Summary: The Research Director, reporting to VP, Research, directs and coordinates activities concerned with gathering, recording, and analyzing data about current and potential customers, competitors, and the market for the purpose of generating advertiser revenue, supporting Exhibitor partners and program development.Responsibilities:' Manage day to day activities of research department to support local, regional and national sales efforts that includes supervision of research team.' Provide overall direction in the use of research resources that includes Nielsen Cinema Audience data, MRI/Simmons, MapInfo, IMS Reach and Frequencies.' Work with Marketing to provide sales groups with a variety of comprehensive materials that articulate the strength of the cinema medium.' Have experience in launching primary research studies and working with various key marketing research vendors.' Support VP Research in various capacities that may include corporate research and new business development efforts. Qualifications:' Bachelor's Degree (marketing/communications major preferred).' 5-8 years media experience, television experience preferred.' Experience in directly managing and motivating staff members required.' Thorough knowledge of MRI/Simmons, Nielsen (TV ratings, AdViews, Galaxy).' Must know how to generate ideas and new concepts, creativity with data.' Must have strong problem solving skills.' Excellent analytical skills required.' Strong business writing and oral communication skills required.' Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.' Must have a strong knowledge of media and the sales process, media math.' Proficient in Microsoft office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).' Knowledge of SPSS and (MR)Tables ideal.AA/EOE
