We are currently seeking a Senior Director of Survey Research for our South San Francisco, CA location. Job Title: Senior Director, Survey Research Reports To: Vice President, Survey Research Location: South San Francisco, CA Basic Function: Maintain overall accountability and leadership for the planning, coordinating and executing of research projects within the research team. Act as a main point of client contact and partner with clients to determine research objectives, provide advice on best approaches to utilize and develop and maintain best practices within research. Maintain a thorough understanding of all research service offerings in order to foster, maintain and grow client accounts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:· Coordinate and manage all client project activities, including study design, proposal development, analysis, report development, and presentation of study results · Creatively consult with clients on the implementation of comScore research deliverables and expand revenue opportunities with current clients in line with the corporate objectives · Identify and gain consensus with team members and senior management regarding the objectives for each client their team works with.· Work towards further enhancement of vertical industry expertise (media and technology). Qualifications:· A professional who is the top in their field. Experience working on business to consumer quantitative research projects using online methodologies.· Proven history of successful client/account management and development· Minimum, 4 year degree and 5 - 10 years custom market research experience, including significant supplier-side experience with an established marketing research company· Proficient in the design and delivery of the following types of studies: advertising effectiveness, segmentation, customer satisfaction, brand tracking, customer tracking, A&U, Retention & Attrition, product concept development, etc. · Expertise will include: questionnaire design, project execution, tabulation plans, analysis, reporting and presentation deliverables· An understanding of survey execution needs, and basic statistical concepts and methods· Must be proficient in Power Point, Word and Excel· An aptitude towards technology· Confident, proactive and action-oriented -- always looking for ways to do things better/more effectively or efficiently.· Excellent communication skills, including both written and verbal, and presentation skills · Proven leadership ability and evidence of positively influencing cross-functional team members comScore, Inc.
