Revenue Analyst - Financial Operations Associate

Claritas (www.claritas.com), the premier leader in precision marketing solutions, has a great opportunity for a financial operations professional/revenue analyst in our Ithaca, NY office.

Job summary

Review, input and distribute annuity and demand orders to ensure proper revenue recognition and commissions.  Verify that all sales are invoiced in a timely manner.  Verify that all client contracts adhere to corporate policies and/or procedures.

Summary of essential job functions

· Independently review, input and distribute new and renewal contracts, including drafts, finals and addenda

 Responsible for review of revenue arrangements, resolution of accounting issues and adherence to corporate pricing, policies and guidelines 

 General understanding of US GAAP policies and knowledge of revenue recognition rules as it applies to SOP 97-2

 Provide guidance and support to Sales, Fulfillment and Finance

 Ability to research and resolve basic to complex Accounting related issues 

 Manage and maintain the Contracts database

 Manage and maintain Accounts within our Sales Order Processing System

 Assist in maintaining appropriate segregation of duties and Sarbanes-Oxley compliant controls

Minimum Requirements

· Associate  in Accounting or Business

· 2 Years of Revenue/Order Systems Experience preferred; a four year degree in Accounting or Finance may substitute for experienceExperience with, Access, and Microsoft Office Applications required; SAP experience desired
