SAP Basis Administrator

Immediate long term contract opportunity for high profile international company based in Manhattan for a SAP Basis Administrator.  Administer SAP Portal, provide problem analysis/resolution, execute system installations and upgrades, configure and tune in a highly complex system landscape.  Provide performance tuning, problem analysis, upgrades and system administration for Oracle databases (Oracle 9) and SAP instances, especially SAP R/3 4.7 or better.  Great work environment.  Immediate hire on a long term contract basis with the possibility of permanent hire (right-to-hire) thus NO H1-B sponsorship or transfer is possible.



Requirements include:  high level of SAP Basis Administration expertise (3+ years),  3+ years Oracle administration and performance tuning, UNIX (Solaris) system administration experience.  Demonstrated knowledge of BI 3.0B administration and SAP Exchange Infrastructure (XI), Process Integration (PI) . Experience in SAP Correction and Transport System and SAP Security management. Additional SAP Basis requires the following components: Wed Application server, Enterprise Portal, Business Information Warehouse, Internet Transaction Server, Single-Sign On and Solution Manager. This is NOT a good match for an SAP Basis consultant who has always worked as part of big consulting teams as it requires a much higher level of hands-on knowledge.
