SEO Assistant/Link Building Specialist

The SEO Assistant/Specialist will report directly to the SEO Manager and will help carry out SEO strategies to increase organic search engine rankings for a variety of sites.

 

The SEO Assistant/ Link Building Specialist is responsible for developing quality back-links to pages at company site and it’s related sites along with performing basic search engine optimization to individual Web pages.

 

The candidate should have basic HTML experience and understanding of Internet along with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced and creative team environment. Some knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) would be a plus, but will train in these areas if we see some good experience, a strong foundation and

potential in the right candidate.  Dependable work ethic with dedication to company’s success. Flexibility to work overtime if needed.

 HTML coding (on a simple level) Perform basic web page optimization Based on a list of targeted keywords, cultivate relationships and links from relevant and credible websites to targeted web pages in our website Employ other link-building strategies, such as: Posting thoughtful, well written comments at relevant blogs Promoting sites content using social media Ensure cultivated links use desired anchor text Maintain logs of successful and unsuccessful link building activities All cultivated links must be UNPAID, NON-RENTED and NON-CLOAKED Link quality will be valued over quantity

 

Job Requirements:

 SEO (Search Engine Optimization) a plus Knowledge of Internet (search engines, directories blogs, social media, etc.) HTML Basic Web Page Creation Knowledge MS Office (Excel, Word)

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

 1 – 3 years basic Web page creation experience 2 – 5 years Internet related experience 1 – 3 copy writing and editing experience 1 – 3 years office related experience
