Search Engine Optimization Specialist Job Description:
The SEO Engineer will be responsible for analyzing website architecture, link structure, content, and optimization recommendations. Developing improvements and changes to new and existing sites that result in top page natural search listings. Optimizing various website components including copy, meta tags, page title/descriptions, internal linking, sitemap, etc. Furthermore, the SEO Engineer will follow proper SEO guidelines with respect to coding and adherence to established copy/keyword standards. Research targeted keywords to match relevant content pages. Perform competitive analysis to help improve future SEO results. Maintain knowledge of current SEO practices to develop and recommend new SEO strategies. Maintain awareness of various SEO resources and tools.
Requirements
Search Engine Optimization Specialist Job Requirements
· Knowledge of: HTML, CSS, and other common programming languages preferred.
· Good writer - strong command of English language, while understanding advertising and marketing language. Excellent writing and grammar skills needed.
· MS OFFICE skills required.
· Ability to communicate internally and externally to clients - via phone or email
· Analytical thinker - able to come up with solutions --- Problem solver
· Quick learner - self motivated and able to multi task on multiple projects simultaneously
· Works well under pressure and deadlines
Prior SEO or SEM experience very desired -**** If you have done prior SEO work, please submit examples of sites optimized with your resume.
Search Engine Optimization Specialist Compensation Package:
Compensation package to include a Salary, and Medical/Life Insurance after 90 days.
