SEO/SEM Director/Manager

Axis41 is looking for a self-motivated Search Engine Marketing Director/Manager to join our SEO team to implement, manage and analyze search engine marketing programs for our clients. This individual will be responsible for managing the SEO team and implementing department strategy while managing team growth.

 
SEO/SEM Director/Manager- Manage, direct, and implement strategy for the axis41 SEO/SEM department
- Keep up to date on new SEO strategies, technologies and techniques
- Pursue high rankings on search engines using industry standard optimization techniques
- Analyze the organic traffic in all major search engines with specific focus on Google, Yahoo and MSN
- Interpret analytics data and present information to clients on a scheduled basis
- Monitor, track, and report SEO on all organic traffic metrics
- Monitor and report site traffic with effective and intuitive SEO reports
- Set direction and strategy for client driven SEO plans and tactics
- Create and implement marketing plans for both online and offline efforts 

- Direct the creation of marketing content for use in PPC copy testing
- Create and distribute regular reporting on all paid search metrics, including costs, volume, placement, keywords, and copy testing


Requirements

- 7+ years of Internet experience

- 5+ years of Search Engine Optimization experience (SEO)
- Demonstrated Understanding of Search Engine Technologies 

- Proven success in growing organic traffic
- Understanding of HTML, Perl or PHP, Apache, and MySQL a plus

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
