Sales Consultant/Key Account Manager

BoatTEST.com is the world's leading provider of online third party video content in the power boating industry.  We specialize in the creation and distribution of third party testing, validation, and review video segments of new boat models, engines, products, and industry news.  We are looking for a highly motivated professional Sales Consultant/Key Account Manager to add to our existing team.  The ideal candidate will have a track record of locating and closing qualified key accounts and managing them through annual growth.  This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional looking to move up to a major accounts position.

 

BoatTEST.com is expert in the development and distribution of influential third party video content for marine manufacturers globally.  We work with our clients to create validating and informative messaging through video and print and then leverage this content globally through an integrated marketing program.  We have developed a suite of tools that allows our clients to influence, impact, and engage boaters researching their next new purchase.  These tools are all customizable to meet an organizations individual needs as well as providing measurable ROI  BoatTEST.com maintains one of the largest distribution networks globally including websites, newsletters, webcasts, poscasts,, as well as cable and satellite TV.

 

Required skills:Ability to engage and communicate with senior level executives including Marketing Vice Presidents, Presidents, CEO's and owners Ability to produce influential sales proposals and innovate on existing template Above average planning skills Above average Powerpoint presentation skills World class vocabulary and verbal skills Creative negotiation skills Strong sense of team and ability to lead Knowledge of online marketing Ability to consult with a major firm and create targeted solutions

 

Travel:This position requires travel to client locations and all the major boat shows

 

Compensation:This position will start at a base salary between $50,000 and $70,000 commensurate with experience A commission will also be paid on each account for new business and recurring sales

Overview:

You will be fully trained on the BoatTEST.com sales/consulting process.  The first six months will be a probationary period in which you will receive additional sales and key account management training and evaluation.  This is a high energy position with a continuously changing market.  Knowledge of the boating industry is a plus, but not required.  Background in advertising and publishing is also a plus.

 

Required Qualification:Five plus years of selling experience to large global brands Four year degree in business or equivalent experience
