Sales Specialist - Beauty Promotion

Exciting, part-time (approx. 20 hrs/wk) long-term opportunity for experienced sales person with an interest in, or experience with, beauty products (preferred).  This is an exceptional opportunity for a persuasive, reliable self-starter with sales background.  Position offers flexible hours, work from home environment and exceptional compensation as well as an incentive program.

 

Primary Job Responsibilities:

- Interact with and educate consumers on product attributes, benefits and key sales points in order to drive sales through in-store promotions

- Set-up product displays and other promotional materials in advance of promotion

- Understand and successfully communicate complicated product attributes

- Drive product sales

- Responsible for reporting and general input; new ideas encouraged

- Maintain pro-active communication with headquarters and supervisors

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills Required:

- 3-5 years sales, product and/or other relevant experience

- Sales experience required

- Reliable, responsible and willing to work weekends

- In-store retail promotion experience

- Spa, salon, aesthetician and/or beauty category experience a plus

- Polished, professional and comfortable working with complicated products

- Department store beauty counter or Sales Rep (beauty products) experience a plus

- Ability to handle multiple tasks with keen attention to detail and thorough follow through

- Flexible, willing to work weekends

- Social and outgoing, enjoys working with people

- Must have reliable transportation (compensated for mileage) as Specialist will be responsible for executing in a specified territory

- Excellent organizational skills

- Computer experience (Excel, Word)
