Sales and Marketing Analyst

TIGI is a fast-growing salon hair care brand located in Dallas, TX, best known for the brand Bed Head. It started as a salon company and evolved into a product company that will eclipse $280 Million in sales in 2008. We are looking for a highly motivated, professional individual to join our corporate team in Lewisville.



Position overview:

The core responsibilities of this position are the design, maintenance and analysis of reports for the Sales, Marketing and Operations functions at a very fast-paced and innovative company. This job will require working with these functional groups and our worldwide business units to implement and ensure consistency in reporting and to eliminate redundant or manual processes. This job reports directly to the Vice-President of International Sales and Marketing. The job may include some travel to key business units in the UK and Germany.

Areas of responsibility:

•Developing all manner of reports for the global business.

•Maintaining and improving analysis/reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.

•Forecasting and budgeting yearly sales goals, bonus computations

•Ad hoc reporting for the CEO, COO and Sales Vice-Presidents

•Daily, monthly and quarterly sales tracking and forecasting

•Market research

•Brand analysis of BED HEAD, CATWALK and other TIGI products

•Category analysis, with assortment recommendations.

•Basic benchmarking and reporting on core functions.

•Recommendations based on analysis and trends.

Qualifications:

•3+ years Consumer Goods, Retail or similar experience related to the above.

•Expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

•Experience with enterprise software such as Oracle, SAP or similar.

•Experience with COGNOS, Business Objects or similar software.

•Ability to work cross-functionally and report informally to a variety of executives.

•Ability to meet very strict deadlines.

Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred but not necessary with commensurate experience.
