BAGSTER offers waste removal solutions through the BAGSTER Dumpster-in-a-BagTM, a 3,300 pound capacity bag that offers the strength of a dumpster without the hassle of a dumpster.  BAGSTER is ideal for smaller home improvement projects, landscaping, moving preparation, and home cleanup projects.  The bag is available at leading home improvement retailers, such as The Home Depot, ACE, True Value, and 84 Lumber, as well as landscaping centers, lumber yards, equipment rental centers and self-storage facilities, in markets where BAGSTER has introduced its collection service.  Collection is scheduled at www.thebagster.com or 1-877-789-BAGS. 

JOB SUMMARY:

The position of FIELD SALES AND SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE is flexible, and could be structured as a full time or part time position depending upon the needs of the candidate.  Primary responsibilities are visiting our retailers on a regular basis to provide product knowledge to store associates and ensure proper product merchandising, as well as representing BAGSTER at store events for vendors and customers.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·  Maintain consistent and highly visible presence at our retail partners. The greater metropolitan area will be divided among our Representatives.

·  Maintain a consistent store visit schedule with our retail partners.  Make contact with as many people within the store as possible.  Build relationships with store personnel.  Interact with all store employees to provide product knowledge.  Answer questions about the product.  Articulate advantages and uses of the product.  Distribute product literature. Ensure that product has been properly received and displayed in correct locations.

·  Cold call on prospective retailers to sign up to retail the BAGSTER bags.

·  Determine timing and opportunity to participate in store level events and training.  Participate in store events taking advantage of BAGSTER exhibitor tent, videos, demonstration product, and truck and crane demonstration.

·  Upon completion of each work day, input activity and call notes into our Salesforce.com software system. 

·  Undertake and perform special projects and assignments as necessary.

SUPERVISION:

• Works under the close supervision of Local Operations Manager and Regional Director of Sales and Marketing.

• No formal supervisory responsibilities.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Sufficient education and work experience to function effectively on an independent basis and to convey confidence and friendliness to our retail partners.

 

• Exceptional relationship building and communication skills.

·  Experience in retail sales and merchandising.

·  Experience with Salesforce.com is preferred but not required.

• Must be able to pass a drug test.

•  Must be able to pass a background check.

• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

•  Must drive personal vehicle.  No overnight travel necessary. 

•  Ownership of a computer or access to a computer is required, as well as the ability to utilize Windows-based software including Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer.

•  Advanced conversational English required.  Conversational Spanish preferred but not required.

 

COMPENSATION:

$15 per hour

Plus mileage reimbursement
